In this version of Minecraft, after creating the world, it is possible not to redo the maps when you install a newer version of the game, while all the mechanisms built on the old version will remain and will work in Minecraft 1.7 .

Run the downloaded file with the game, after which the game will be automatically installed in the folder:
for Windows 7, copy the .Minecraft folder to C: \ Users \ Your user \ AppData \ Roaming \ .minecraft \
for Windows XP .Minecraft copy to C: \ Documents and Settings \ Your user \ Application Data \ .minecraft \
After installing the game, 2 shortcuts will appear on the desktop to launch the game, choose at your discretion through which shortcut to launch, it depends on whether you have a licensed account or not. You can choose one of two methods.
