Download ModLoader for Minecraft version 1.6.2
Here is a working version of ModLoader for Minecraft 1.6.2, having tested 3 mods Rei's Minimap, TooManyItems, X-Ray for compatibility, it turned out that the first two mods work fine, and if you put the cheat mod, the game simply does not start and gives an error. so it is not recommended to install X-Ray mod bundled with other mods and make a backup copy of the .jar file before installing, as this mod manager may conflict with other libraries.
Instructions or how to install ModLoader mod correctly:
Download the mod.
Open the .minecraft\versions folder, there you will have a 1.6.2 folder, make a copy of this folder, it is very easy to do this. Hover the mouse cursor over the folder, hold down the right button and move it aside, then release the mouse button and press copy.
Next, rename the folder and the 2 files that are in it, for example 1.6.2 Mods, so that the folder and the files have the same names, to change the names, click on the file or folder with the right mouse button, then select "Rename".
In the 1.6.2 Mods folder, open the 1.6.2 Mods.json file, you can open this file with any text editor. How to do it? Click on the file with the right mouse button and click "Open with" and select "Notepad", after which you will open this file.
At the beginning of the open text document, find the inscription "1.6.2", and change to "1.6.2 Mods", as shown in the example in the pictures.
The final stage of the ModLoader installation. Open 1.6.2 Mods.
Now ModLoader for Minecraft version 1.6.2 is installed and ready to go. In order to activate this new version with a mod, you need to launch the launcher and click Edit Profile, select the release 1.6.2 Mods version and click Save Profile.
